Natalia Berthet Garcia
Natalia Berthet Garcia is a Uruguayan immigrant living in Massachusetts. She started organizing shortly after she was granted DACA, motivated by the policy’s exclusion of immigrant workers like her parents and other undocumented people.
Since 2013, Natalia has been organizing at Massachusetts Jobs with Justice around public education, immigrant rights, and workers’ rights. At JwJ, she has been the Central Massachusetts regional coordinator for statewide campaigns to raise the minimum wage and win earned sick time for workers, as well as a campaign to stop the expansion of charter schools in Massachusetts. She has also been lead on Communications at JwJ, and is a proud alum of the ReFrame Mentorship Program. Natalia is also an interpreter and translator, loves spending time with her family, and enjoys making funny Instagram stories in her spare time.
